THE STUDIO BOOKING & BOOKING RESERVATION POLICY
Thank you for considering partnering with my studio to bring your architectural vision to light. In order to maintain our uncompromising standards of creative excellence, old-school integrity, and operational clarity, our studio operates under a strict and standardized financial protocol.
1. Initial Retainer and Fee Structure To fully secure your production dates and initiate our comprehensive architectural analysis prior to the shoot, all project fees are structured as follows:
* 60% Non-Refundable Commencement Retainer: Due immediately upon signing the creative brief to reserve your dates on our global production calendar. * 40% Production Release Balance: Must be paid in full to our bank account or by check, on the beginning of the first day of the shoot. Additional creative work or extra days made outside the initial contract needs to be paid in full before post production starts (within one week).
2. Preservation of Creative Momentum Our camera will not fire on set and travel will not commence until the production balance has been paid in full. We do not accept partial payments, post-dated checks, or net payment terms after production concludes.
3. "Art Director" Authority and Interruption Clause Your initial payment secures our exclusive years of expertise and master-level creative focus. While collaborative contributions are finalized during the pre-shoot planning phase, the photographer retains final artistic direction on set regarding light, composition, timing and execution.
* Interference Policy: If a client actively disrupts the production flow, (micro management) attempts to impose changes that compromise artistic standards, or violates professional boundaries (harassment from insecurity / lack of trust ) on set, production will be halted. * Resolution: If the issue cannot be resolved through mutual respect and a cup of tea, the session will be halted. Under these circumstances (which luckily never happen), 100% of all initial fees are retained by the studio as a cancellation fee, for breach of creative contract / intention / creation of alternative agendas other than great creative work.
All projects will be preceded by proposals, so you know exactly what you get and is being expected by both parties. Enjoy your creative expansion and success.
